Koda is a beautiful, fully restored 1969 VW van with a photo booth inside. She travels around to weddings, reunions, corporate events and festivals and offers the most unique photo booth experience in the Black Hills. Vintage suitcases full of colorful wigs, feather boas, crazy hats, headbands, masks etc add to the whimsy and fun of the photo experience and help to take any event to the next level. 

Guests choose their props, sit down inside the van, use the easy touchscreen menu, pose, and in 10 seconds, two photo strips print out. The option for a keepsake scrapbook allows guests to affix photo strips on inside along with a personalized note. There are three packages available of 2, 3, or 4 hours along with add-ons for additional time, keepsake scrapbooks, digital uploads to social media, slideshows etc. Guests can further personalize their event and with a custom footer and much more. 

Koda mainly travels to events in the Black Hills Area but can be available for events outside the travel area by request and for an added fee. Koda the Black Hills Photo Bus became a part of Black Hills Tour Company in 2017 and has quite a following after years of being at local weddings, festivals and parties. In late 2020, when Kevin and Melina decided to turn Koda over to a new family, husband and wife team Darin French and Amy Scherer jumped at the opportunity to purchase the business.
